Additional Westlaw Training Sessions

Kimberly Wolenberg, Our Westlaw representative is scheduling more training for all law students. Here is the schedule:

Tuesday, October 2nd - Basic Westlaw Training - This class covers all the basic online research skills that a 1L should know by the end of fall semester. Plus, you’ll earn TRIPLE WestlawRewardsTM Points for 30 days!
10:45-11:15 am in Room 338
Donuts will be provided.
 

12:45-1:15 pm in Room 334
Pizza will be provided.
 

Wednesday, October 3rd - Motions, Briefs, and Forms - Every 2L and 3L should know how to find and use motions, briefs, and forms. You will learn the easiest and most cost-effective ways to access and use these resources on Westlaw. Plus, you’ll earn 100 WestlawRewardsTM Points for attending!
8:30-9:00 am in Room 338
Donuts will be provided.
 

Top 5 Cost-Effective Research Tips on Westlaw - Partners and clients will expect you to research in a cost-effective manner. This class will teach you 5 cost-effective research tips that you will be expected to know in practice. Plus, you’ll earn 100 WestlawRewardsTM Points for attending!

Thursday, October 4th - Digest Searching - Learn how the West Topic & Key Number System saves you time and helps you find the case law you need. Plus, you’ll earn 100 WestlawRewardsTM Points for attending!
