Paterson Says Unions Agree on Pension Law, Job Cuts (Update3) (Bloomberg)

June 5 (Bloomberg) -- New York Governor David Paterson said the state?s two biggest public-employee unions agreed to support a new pension law with reduced benefits and a decrease in the state?s workforce by 7,000 that would save $440 million through March 31, 2010.
