As I posted a while ago, many of us are about to welcome new junior colleagues into our ranks over the summer months.
This might be a nice time to introduce them and some of their recent work, so I would like to start the ball rolling by saying that I'm delighted to have Professor Irina Manta joining the faculty at CWRU as an Assistant Professor. Her recent article on "Privatizing Trademarks" is about to appear in the Arizona Law Review and I'm sure she would welcome comments on this piece as well as suggestions for future directions for her scholarship. (She gave me permission to make this post and I hope, by doing so, to encourage other more senior faculty to introduce the work of their incoming junior colleagues, or indeed existing tenure track folks.)
