Aren't You Tired of Hearing "Have You Been Injured? If So, call me..."

By Gerry Oginski

"HAVE YOU BEEN INJURED? IF SO, CALL ME."

Here's my question: Why? Why should I call you instead of the thousands of other lawyers in New York who say the same (stupid) thing. How does that phrase help an injured victim differentiate one lawyer from another?

The answer: It doesn't.

All those lawyer commercials on daytime TV; all those yellow pages ads for attorneys; they all say the same thing: "Have You Been Injured in an Accident? If so, call me..."

None of those ads help you choose an attorney. Why not? Because not one of them explain how they can help solve YOUR legal problem.

I've been in practice for over 20 years and have to tell you that I'm sick of hearing that (stupid and annoying) statement in every lawyer commercial, video or print ad for a personal injury or medical malpractice lawyer in New York. I wish lawyers would simply tell injured victims how they can help an injured victim, and importantly, explain how they can help you.
