This is fun video from the Texas Board of Education hearings taking public comment on the teaching of evolution. Some old codger gets up and babbles incoherently for about 8 minutes about stasis and evolution, while brandishing a copy of one of Ernst Mayr's books. The best part is at the end where he claims that cockroaches "has been in stasis for 4.5 billion years" while cyanobacteria have only been in stasis for 3.5 billion years. Riiiiight.
