He was accused then, by Republicans, of being a Sore Loserman.
I'm pretty sure that's an ineffective charge.
And it makes it that much harder to complain about legitimate irregularities that don't favor the GOP (and not all of them will, FYI).
So when Mike Huckabee decided to challenge the Washington State caucuses over the weekend, this right-wing blog accused him of being a sore loserman.
But he has a legitimate gripe I think:
Republican State Party Chairman Luke Esser suspended voting with only 87 percent of the votes counted, and then issued a press release declaring McCain the victor. When Huckabee campaign officials reached Esser Sunday, he said the rest of the votes would be counted today and refused requests for the campaign to monitor the tallying, Rollins said, adding Esser said the campaign should trust the party.
I'm pretty sure that challenging unfair results isn't being a sore loserman.
Republicans don't accuse George W. Bush of being a sore loser for appealing the decision of the Florida Supreme Court to the U.S. Supreme Court. Well, I'd guess they would say, that was a terrible decision.
Yes, exactly. Bad decisions deserve to be challenged. And one good way to determine whether a bad decision has been made is by getting it out of the political universe and into the judiciary.
