My co-author Larry Cunningham and I think there are three or four basic approaches to financial regulatory reform, but there are also tons of variants. You will see our paper on SSRN soon, he has a list of propsals here; I'm going to observe there are more coming down the pike (indeed, I'm writing a short chapter on international regulatory reform for one now), encourage our readership to identify ones we've missed, and go read the "fleeting expletives" case, a regulatory donnybrook on which many words will be wasted, now.
