ADVERTISEMENTS
Over at The Hearing, Simon Johnson's and James Kwak's new blog for the Washington Post on the economic policy debate, I've got a post up on too big to fail, and how to respond to it. A taste:
none of the[] strategies to shrink the banks requires legislation from
Congress, although both Hoenig and Johnson encourage the modernization
of those laws. If you think that banks play an outsized role in the
political process, or if you think that banking reform legislation will
take years to complete, you should be glad to hear this.
Go give it, and the blog, a look.
