Imminent U.S. News Frenzy

ADVERTISEMENTS

The annual fascination with the U.S. News & World Report rankings is about to begin, with the official release coming in the next few days.  The most notable addition is a ranking of evening programs.  Judging from this news announcement at Fordham, it appears that the evening program rankings are already available to law schools and will be a new source of publicity for law schools with evening programs.

As an aside, I suspect (but can't confirm) that Fordham has jumped the gun on this announcement.  It is my understanding that law schools get the information shortly before the official publication date but are asked to keep it under wraps until the official release. Can anyone confirm my anecdotal understanding?
