"My Stroke of Insight"

ADVERTISEMENTS
This is a fantastic video. Brain scientist Jill Bolte Taylor had a massive stroke.  What was her stroke like?  What insights did she have?  This is a must-watch video: She has a great book out, too: For years I have been able to do what she describes - namely split whether or not my left or right brain controlled my reality.  Once you learn to alter how your brain works, you realize that everything we perceive is controlled by the brain's gears.  Which makes you wonder what exactly is out there that our brains won't let us see.  And it makes you chuckle when people go on and on about there being an Objective Reality.  Even if there is, we can't know it.
