Hobbylobbypicture Hobby Lobby is a privately held chain of retail stores with a wide range of product departments, including crafts, picture framing, fashion fabrics, and home accents.  The company operates over 400 stores in 33 states.

Beginning in 1997, Hobby Lobby began placing full-page messages in all of the newspapers in markets where it advertises.  The messages appear on Christmas and Easter and are poignant and powerful.  I look forward to the messages as I read the holiday editions of the local Houston Chronicle.
