Mitt Romney: ?We Hardly Knew Ye?

My man Mitt dropped out the race today. It is unfortunate that he is not the GOP nominee. He would have been a great president and as I told Mitt when I met him, I hoped he would be my commander in chief. Mitt was a great candidate and was one of the last two GOPers standing; an infamous silver medal. While I have mentioned before why I find John McCain an unacceptable conservative option, I?ll pull the lever for him in November for two reasons: the war on terror and judges. I?ll get into that more later I suppose, but in the mean time we?ll have to imagine what a President Romney might have meant to this country. From his concession speech at CPAC:
It is the common task of each generation?and the burden of liberty?to preserve this country, expand its freedoms and renew its spirit so that its noble past is prologue to its glorious future.
To this task? accepting this burden? we are all dedicated, and I firmly believe, by the providence of the Almighty, that we will succeed beyond our fondest hope. America must remain, as it has always been, the hope of the earth.
