Human Remains Positively Identified as Jeffrey Scott Howard

According to venturacountystar.com, human remains found inside a car on March 29, have been positively identified as Jeffrey Scott Howard, a 42-year-old resident of Thousand Oaks, CA, who went missing in Dec. 2006. Jeffrey's father, Stan Howard, said that investigators are uncertain as to a cause of death; however it is believed to be accidental. A funeral service for Jeffrey is scheduled for 10 a.m. Monday in Westlake Village.
