: China HearsayNo Comments on Empty ?G-2? Discourse
By Stan
OK, I didn’t really expect anything of substance to come out of the G-20 meeting or the so-called G-2 discussions between Obama and Hu. So no surprise that the public statements that came out of both camps were entirely devoid of anything tangible.
That being said, there certainly were a lot of newspaper column inches devoted to the discussions. Instead of spending any of my valuable time (well, that is arguable) on the subject, therefore, I will leave you in the hands of the New York Times, China Daily, and all our other friends at major papers who felt obliged to write something today. Just don’t expect too much.
