Mother-Daughter Issues

If you're following Lynne Stewart's case (which see), you may want to know that her daughter is now making news for all the wrong reasons.

Oh, it's not as bad as all that. She hasn't taken a Lohanesque turn or finally saying "yes" to rehab.

Rather, she faked a doctor's note to get out of school. Sure, we've all done it! Trouble is, Miss Stewart is a schoolteacher. Skipping school may not be cool, but skipping work at taxpayer's expense is decidedly rotten, even if you're taking the time to be at your mother's trial.

Nobody will be picketing outside the courthouse while her trial is going on, that's for sure.
