Speaking at DELVACCA Conference

By Ken Adams

ADVERTISEMENTS

On April 1 I’ll be in Philadelphia, speaking at the first conference for in-house counsel organized by DELVACCA, the Delaware Valley chapter of the Association for Corporate Counsel. Some three hundred in-house lawyers are expected to attend this all-day CLE event, but it’s almost sold out, so you’ll have to be quick if you want to join them. It’s free to DELVACCA  members who register by March 25. For a fee, it’s also open to non-member in-house counsel and other attorneys. Click here for more information.

My topic will be “Automating Your Contract Process.” For the first time, I’ll have a co-presenter?Karen Gray, General Counsel, Art Business, Americas, of Christie’s International, the world’s leading art business. I’m delighted that Karen we’ll be joining me, as she has a lot of valuable experience with automating contracts.

Two contract-automation vendors, Business Integrity (the developer of DealBuilder) and Symfact, are sponsors of the conference and both will have personnel and marketing materials available at the event. Business Integrity will also be conducting demonstrations of DealBuilder during breaks at the conference. (DealBuilder will be familiar to longtime readers of this blog, and this week I did a Q&A with Symfact.)

The conference will feature a dozen CLE presentations. Each is being sponsored by a law firm or legal-service provider, except for mine. That my presentation doesn’t have a sponsor is an indication that the expertise I offer isn?t readily available elsewhere, and that contract automation is getting a lot of attention.
