: IBLS Internet Law BlogHow are we going to be taxed when we sell on the Internet?
By IBLS Editor
We would like to ask you few questions: We intend to form a LLC in Wyoming (or Nevada) and start e-commerce site, purchasing goods from US wholesalers and/or dropshippers and deliver to US clients. We will receive payments using US merchant account. We are not US citizens. We are both from Bulgaria (there is a tax treaty between USA and Bulgaria) and 50 % of the LLC could be owned by a Bulgarian LLC. We don't spend more than 183 days in USA. Our questions: 1. How are we going to be taxed when we sell on the Internet ? Taxes we have to pay in USA and in Bulgaria ? 2. Do we have to file personal income in the USA ? 3. How can we avoid double taxation? 4. Do we have to pay sales tax when we deliver to a different state ? What taxes do we have to pay ? If you can't answer us could you give us advise where we should look for answers of that kind of questions? We really appreciate you help!
Sincerely yours Venny and Ilia
