: Virginia BlawgerCourse Evaluations
ADVERTISEMENTS
One of the great things about UVA is that you can see all of the teachers evaluations. Glancing through, I came upon this gem:
Her intense interrogation of the student on call really taught us how to read the cases better and how to scan for keywords. However, this was done beginning the first day of class, when we had little knowledge of how to read the cases. Thus, the first weeks were brutal. I submit this webcomic as a simile of the first week:http://www.penny-arcade.com/comic/2007/11/19
If I were to go to Dante's Inferno, the first couple weeks of cold calling would probably be my experience if I made the third or fourth levels of it.
Ultimately, it was incredibly helpful, but it was too much too soon.
That's right boys and girls, UVA students read Penny Arcade too. Plus, they've apparently read Dante's inferno and subscribe to Nietzsche's school of thought that which does not kill you makes you smarter.
