Charles Schwab Commits Fraud (SWYSX and SWYCX)

By Adam Gana

ADVERTISEMENTS

Napoli Bern Ripka LLP is investigating Charles Schwab & Co. for engaging in fraud. Schwab managers misrepresented the Schwab YieldPlus Funds (SWYSX and SWYCX) as similar to money market funds and suitable for investors seeking a conservative investment with low volatility.

In reality, these funds had high concentrations in risky and mostly illiquid mortgage backed securities, which exposed investors to the risk of substantial losses of principal.

Napoli Bern has filed over a dozen arbitrations on behalf of individual investors who have suffered losses as a result of Charles Schwab's fraud.

If you invested in YieldPlus Funds and you lost money, we can help.
