Reed Smith adds three new partners and counsel to L.A.

Reed Smith added three new partners and a new counsel to its two Los Angeles offices yesterday.

Kathyleen A. O'Brien and Mark Litvack join the firm's Century City office as partners. Henry Wang joins the Los Angeles office as a partner and Wendy Albers joins the office as counsel.

O?Brien is an antitrust, copyright and trademark litigator  who represents consumer products and entertainment companies in federal and state litigation and enforcement actions. She was previously a partner at Morrison & Foerster.

Litvack focuses on civil litigation, with an emphasis on technology issues, intellectual property, trademark and copyright infringement and entertainment actions. He was previously a partner at Manatt Phelps and Mitchell Silverberg. Before that, Litvack was the vice-president and director of legal affairs for the Motion Picture Association of America's anti-piracy department.

Wang, also a former partner at Manatt Phelps' L.A. office, focuses on general business litigation, representing clients in courts at all levels, including the US Supreme Court. Wang joins Litvack in the firm?s west coast litigation group.

Albers was previously counsel at Horvitz & Levy's Encino office, where she specialized in general civil litigation including premises liability, products liability, insurance coverage and contractual disputes.
