: Expressio UniusHow Much Would I Pay to Tell the World that I am a Racist?
By glanko
If you didn't see them - the short version is that a company called Sales Genie paid millions and millions of dollars to run crudely animated advertisements which, for some reason, feature over-the-top stereotypes of Indians and Chinese. There's no way seven figure ads just "slip by" the execs - and that's the worst part - somebody, who is much more successful than me, thought this was a good idea. Wow. All the more reason to trust those dynamite free sales leads they're hawking.
The thing that strikes me is that these caricatures really don't advance the ad in any sort of way (particulary Ramesh and his seven kids). I'm surprised the people at Sales Genie didn't portray Ramesh's boss as Jewish. Stay classy SG.
