: Peanut Butter BurritoVocabulary
By Andrea
On a light note, I didn't post a Becca letter for turning 13 months old, since I told myself I didn't have to, but as a memento, here's a list of her complete vocabulary at this particular moment in time. And almost as importantly, it's followed by the approximate percentage of the time she actually uses that word correctly, instead of just pointing at the couch and saying it.
Mommy/Monkey (90%, except that these two words now sound identical. Er.)
Doggie (90% IF you count calling her rocking horse "doggie" correct, which, yes, I DO)
Up (85%)
Thank you (85% - she doesn't say it much but when she does it's pretty darn precious)
Uh-oh (80%)
All done (80%)
Daddy (70%)
Hi/Bye (40%, but only because she confuses one for the other)
Meeeeeeeeee!/Myyyyy! (These are sort of placeholders for "I want that" and "That's mine," so hard to classify)
We're working on some new projects, too, like "baby" and "milk," but I'm happy to let her take it as slow as she wants. I can tell she's going to have a lot to say soon enough.
