Woodbridge "Blowing Petals of Shame" on Factoring Industry... Regulators Need To Wake Up About Woodbridge Investments' Advertising Before Tort Victims Get Hurt!

By John Darer

ADVERTISEMENTS

This morning I came across the following web page for Woodbridge Settlement Funding, LLC a/k/a, or related to Woodbridge Investments, LLC, in an Internet search for structured settlement quote.Download quote_form_woodbridge_settlement_funding_llc.pdf

It would take more than a fleeting moment for an educated or uneducated person would be hard pressed to figure out that THEY COULD NOT GET A "FREE ONLINE QUOTE- STRUCTURED SETTLEMENTS AND ANNUITY" FROM WOODBRIDGE based on what is presented.

How many tort victims are going to call Woodbridge folks mistakenly driven by false advertising that may falsely drive them to thinking they are getting a legitimate structured settlement quote or annuity quote?

Woodbridge is a factoring company (i.e. "cash now"). It's high time they started acting like one instead of deliberately advertising in such a way to confuse tort victims.

In my opinion Woodbridge Investments/ Woodbridge Settlement Funding is a despicable company. From aping legitimate structured settlement terms (see structured settlement aper's pillory entry below right and other Woodbridge posts in category listing), carnival booth incentives preying on human weakness and spamming of blogs that are trying to actually educate the public ,the new kids on the block are going about things the wrong way.

The irony of the Woodbridge misleading advertising is that they have an unscreened RSS feed called Structured Settlement News at the bottom left of the webpage which offer a link to "Judge warns of financial vultures", a Providence Journal story that I will be discussing in my next post. Seems like someone is being hoisted by their own petard!

The metaphor derived from the picture of the afro-american kid blowing a "dandelion clock" in the Woodbridge ad brings another interesting twist.  While the action of the child in the photo is an activity loved by children the world over, the fact is that a dandelion is a nasty weed. What parent would want their kid blowing the "dandelion clock" on their lawn? In my opinion Woodbridge is "blowing the dandelion" seeds of shame onto the factoring industry. Where's the herbicide?
