: Ross Ipsa LoquiturWindows 7 Watch: Gizmodo?s Links to Tips/Issues/News
By Ross
One of my favorite gadgetblogs, Gizmodo, has a great compilation of initial Windows 7 thoughts, tips, observations, critiques, problem-spotting. So far, for those wondering, it’s a mix of encouraging and discouraging news - mo
re the former fortunately than the latter. What I *REALLY* care about are not bell and whistle level gizmos and doo-dads. But core reliability, speed, sleekness, peripheral-friendliness, stability, error recovery ability. In short, is it a better operating SYSTEM rather than new lipstick on a very, very needy Vistapig?
Not that Microsoft has anything riding on this, mind you. HA! Windows 7 will either be Microsoft’s salvation or the pot at the end of the digital rainbow for OS X . . .
P.S. Check out Gizmodo’s hysterical parody post (almost Onion-worthy), “25 Features You Won’t See in Windows 7″ here.
