: GroklawAre You a Database Guru? -- A Request for Volunteers
By Pamela Jones et al.
ADVERTISEMENTS
Here's something a little different for us, but although unusual, I thought it was worth telling you about. We are, after all, a community here, and a Groklaw member, arnotsmith, wrote to me because he is urgently looking for a volunteer or volunteers to help him with quickly setting up a database. He's been unable to find anything to suit, and he wondered if you guys might be able to help him. I said I didn't know for sure, but I thought probably you brainiacs could probably steer him in the right direction at least. Some of you may know of a solution that already exists, and if not, maybe someone will want to lend a hand and code up a solution. It's for a project the Kenya National Commission for Human Rights in Nairobi is doing to document and analyze the current post-election violence there. But I'll let him tell you about it himself.
