I guess one way to ensure your nominees won't be derailed is to nominate Republicans.

The Obama Administration has simply been a series of false starts worthy of parody. The Roland Burris flip-flop, a massive spending bill full of pork, disagreements with Congress, and aborted nominations.

The best we can say about Obama's nominees with tax issues is that one, Geitner, who was the worst of the lot for actually disabling a TurboTax reminder and pocketing the money from the IMF, wasn't caught until the IRS's statute of limitations ran. Yay?

If this is the first 100 days, what's the rest going to be like?
