The Thursday Announcement

Yesterday I predicted a series of orchestrated announcements from the Obama campaign, designed to dominate the news cycle through Tuesday. That included the endorsement of John Edwards by Saturday. I'm sticking by that, though Edwards may not be endorsing to encourage Clinton and Obama to go after his voters by talking about poverty.

Today's Big Obama Announcement: $ 32 Million in one month.

And the momentum continues: The Gallup 3-day poll now has Obama within 4 points nationwide. Obama's been gaining a point or two a day for 10 days. A continuation of that trend easily puts him ahead by Tuesday.

I think the debate tonight is the Clinton campaign's only chance to stop the bleeding.
