: Legal Pad | LAChapman founding law dean retires from teaching
By Jonathan Hayter
The founding dean of Chapman University School of Law in Orange, Calif., Jeremy Miller, has retired from his job as law professor.
Miller took over as dean before the school opened in 1995. He stepped down two years later after several students sued when the school failed to receive accreditation from the American Bar Association.
Parham H. Williams Jr., who replaced Miller as dean, obtained accreditation for the school.
Now that he has retired, Miller, 54, is considering looking into the use of yoga in law or moving to Taiwan, his wife?s homeland, to teach English.
