I pretty much always read the NYTimes obits of any athlete (but especially baseball players) and any lawyer. This guy's caught my eye-- some times I think about what it would have been like to have had someone's career, and sometimes I think about what it would have been like to have had him have as an adversary, but looking at Thomas Barr I thought, "Wow, how'd you like to have worked for him?" Not much, I think. Something tells me he was a ballbuster.
