U of L law dean interviewing in Washington

From today's Courier Journal is a short note that Dean Chen is interviewing for University of Washington Law dean. If he gets the nod, our loss will be their gain.

The University of Louisville?s law school dean is one of four finalists vying to head the University of Washington?s School of Law.

Jim Chen, a nationally recognized legal scholar who was named dean of U of L?s Brandeis School of Law in 2007, is scheduled to be interviewed today and tomorrow at UW.

Other candidates include: Lawrence O. Gostin, associate dean, Georgetown Law Center; Patricia White, professor and dean emeritus, Arizona State University; and Kellye Testy, law dean, at Seattle University.
