#3 The pic is a little small so for those who can't see it too well it is a picture of a blimp blowing up with the phrase "Blimpin' Aint Easy." This is really my type of humor. You know, the Dennis Miller type of humor that combines popular culture with off the wall historical references? Seriously, what?s funnier than combining Big Daddy Kane with the Hidinberg?
#2 I know this reference isn?t too generational. Everybody plays this game. I?m sure they have it on x-box or PS3. A couple of summers ago, when I was eating dinner with an officer and his family from the Washington Naval Yard, this officer?s eight year old son, when I mentioned it, knew all about Oregon Trail. In fact, he gave me an old version of it so I could play it at home. However, I?ll always remember playing this at elementary school on those old green screened Apple computers and the huge floppy disks. I got to be so good at hunting that I could satiate my family off of squirrel meat alone. But darn it if someone didn't always break a leg or freakin? dysentery didn?t always kill a child or two. Good times. (Speaking of floppy disks, check out this great ?24 pilot? about how far technology has come in the last 15 years.)
#1 Explaining why this shirt was funny to my wife reminded me when Martin Short?s character in Three Amigos sees an airplane over head and says, ?It?s a mail plane.?
