ADVERTISEMENTS
For those of you waiting on me to post a job search update, here you go. After taking the bar exam and returning from my "bar trip," I have resumed the job search full stop. Unfortunately, despite my continuous efforts, I am still jobless. I did have two interviews with a government organization in Northern California that would have been a perfect fit (I've actually already worked on cases for them, and have written WINNING LEGAL ARGUMENTS for them!), but two weeks since the call back interview, they have not sent me so much as a rejection letter. Thanks for rewarding my hard work...jack asses.

Outside of those two interviews, it has been very quiet. I did have an interview on Saturday, but that had to be one of the oddest interviews I've ever been in. The guy showed up 30 minutes late to the interview, which made my interview an hour late since he had to interview the guy in front of me. Oh yeah, he was wearing a t-shirt and shorts. Way to be professional. The job turned out to be something I was only mildly interested in, and so I probably reflected that, and needless to say, I have not heard back from that one either.

So as of now, I'm incredibly frustrated with everything. I'm tired of rejection, of not working, and of being ignored. I'm sick of being treated like a pariah because my head was in a bad place this time two years ago, and I wasn't able to interview effectively and had a bad OCIP strategy.

I'll keep plugging away with the search though, because that's all I have to do, except one other thing, which hopefully I'll be announcing on Friday. Keep your fingers crossed for me. Oh yeah, Happy New Year! Shanah Tovah!
