: The MenagerieAnatomy of a tantrum
I don't want to jinx it, but Peach is still a good baby. Even with the addition of tantrums, bossiness, and refusal at times to sleep to her repertoire (oh, wait - she has always done that at times), she does continue to (mostly) want to please us.
My problem is that her tantrums, when they happen, are so damn funny - I want to pat her on the head and say, "it's so cute when you're asserting yourself!" But even I know that's not the "right" way to handle the situation, so I try not to let her see me snicker - and I take pictures instead.
This tantrum was triggered by a slightly exasperated, "Peach, please get down from the chair." Other triggers have been: "Please do not throw your toys," "It's time to get out of the tub," and "You have to wear a coat today."
