Merry Christmakwanzaakkah from a new 3L.

ADVERTISEMENTS

Well, it’s been one heck of a 2008. In a few days 2009 will begin. I’ve got a lot of hope going into the new years. A new administration will be in place and, as far as units go,I’m a 3L now…. and I’m afraid I’m already suffering from senioritis. School starts up again on the 5th of January, and I’d really prefer to just stay at home and play Madden ‘09 or Wii Bean Bags.

This winter break has been hectic. The day I finished finals, Kate and I drove up to Long Beach, dropped off our dog, and headed off to LAX. At LAX we ran into T. Momsen from some popular show or another. She was catching a red-eye somewhere or another. We were on a different plane to Miami for our Honeymoon. The flight there was pretty miserable. We got in to Miami and had to wait around for a bit to get on our shuttle to the cruise ship. Once we got on the cruise ship, we got a few rum fruity drinks, and our honeymoon began in earnest. It was a blast. The waters were rough the first few days, but after the sea settled down, we really enjoyed snorkeling and the on-board jazz club. When the cruise was over, we came home, visited family for Christmas, and now I need a vacation from my winter vacation.

Instead, I’ve got a new semester of classes (six total) and tutoring (Go Section 4!). At least I don’t have to worry about writing another law review note. 2009 is shaping up to be a great year. Hope you all enjoyed your winter breaks.
