The Lions' Perfect Season

ADVERTISEMENTS

The Lions completed their perfect season, becoming the first team to go 0-16 in the NFL. I have to confess to being almost happy about it. We actually had high hopes for the Lions around here this year after last year, thinking that they had a shot to make the playoffs with a revived running game and more speed on defense. Once it became clear, after just a few games, that this team had actually regressed, I was rooting for an 0-16 season. If you're going to suck, suck on an historical level.
