Cable, Internet News Sources Growing in Popularity
Local television news remains preferred daily source

Libraries of all types traffic in news sources and the longitudinal data collected and reported here from 1996-2008 show a very clear trend.

Are we adapting to the changes in newsmagazines, local and national newspapers, local and national TV news, PBS, NPR, or internet news? I don't know what the endgame is, but it sure is changing. The demographic data certainly implies differences in strategy for different target groups.
