ADVERTISEMENTS

The holiday season is cranking up as the year is winding down and we all know what that means – it’s PARTY TIME.  We party with friends.  We party with family.  We even party with co-workers.

Baby its cold outside.

Baby its cold outside.

What in the world do parties have to do with legal literacy?  Well, office parties can be pretty tricky.  We all want to celebrate and have fun.  But, if we’re not careful, one person’s fun can easily turn into another person’s harassment and cause the worst hangover imaginable: a lawsuit.

The Top 10 Ways to Turn your Holiday Party into a Lawsuit is a tongue and cheek checklist created by ELT that helps navigate the office party mine field.  Forward this posting to those you think could benefit from a gentle, career saving reminder.  They’ll thank you.

P.S.  Oh, and if you’re still wrestling with what to get for the “business person who has everything” check out my Bookshelf Recommendations for inspiring gift ideas that fuel continued success.
