Why Does Forge Consulting Lie About Something So Insignificant?

Merriam Webster defines "Big Lie" as "a deliberate gross distortion of the truth"

THE LIE "Forge Consulting, LLC is the first major new firm in the structured settlement industry in more than a decade"..

The lie, among others, has been perpetuated over a series of years to tort victims and trial lawyer associations nationwide. If Forge Consulting wants to tell trial lawyers and tort victims that it offers "a fresh approach" then WHY does it have to tell THE LIE?

Question

What is major? Production? Number of Offices?

What is "new"? If a major firm is established after FORGE, then FORGE is not the first major new firm in more than a decade.

FACTS:

Forge Consulting was established in 2003, Atlas Settlement Group was founded some time later.

Atlas has more offices and consultants than Forge

IFS Corporation was founded later than 2003. IFS owns 4 major structured settlement consulting firms with a number of offices and personnel that dwarfs Forge.

This author is willing to speculate that at IFS produces more revenue than FORGE.

Henry Hungerford Spooner Phillips,IV, Principal of Forge Consulting, LLC is the Chairman of the membership committee of the National Structured Settlement Trade Association, appointed by its Board of Directors.

Virtually every state insurance department has truth in advertising laws related to the sale of life insurance. Annuities are a form of life insurance.
If you lie you are not telling the truth.
THE LIE is clearly used for the purpose to sell structured settlement annuities and other regulated financial products.
Principle VI of the NSSTA Code of Ethics states that an NSSTA member should comply with all material federal and state laws and regulations applicable to the structured settlement services that are provided.
Was Phillips as a principal in a firm that has perpetuated THE LIE, granted an exception to its published code of ethics by NSSTA and its leadership ?
