Is there a way to retrieve / restore / recover music files from an AppleTV?

In upgrading my iMac from Tiger to Leopard, I somehow deleted a portion of my music. However, my AppleTV has a copy of all my music prior to the upgrade. I am wondering if there is a way to restore the data from the AppleTV. Does anyone have any experience with this? -Athar.
