Sullivan Catches Lopez

Kathryn Jean Lopez of the National Review Online seems to be rather fact-challenged. Andrew Sullivan catches a glaring error in this Townhall column. She writes:

This initiative protecting traditional marriage won by the same margin as Barack Obama did in that state -- getting the support of some Obama voters, in fact.

As Sullivan points out, Prop 8 passed 52-48; Obama won California 62-37. This is the difference between a close win and a massive blowout. As of Friday night, two days after it was published, there's no correction issued by Lopez.
