Brush Truck Kills Woman in Wheelchair

Diane Rosenbaum was on her way home when she was killed by a San Antonio Fire Department brush truck. It was about 6:45 p.m. when the truck had pulled into a Wells Fargo parking lot. When the truck began to leave, the driver did not see Ms. Rosenbaum and hit her. Ms. Rosenbaum's body was left in the street and the wheelchair was still pinned under the truck. Mr. Rosenbaum was decapitated. The driver did return to the scene once he realized what had happened. So far, the investigation has ruled this incident an accident.

Witnesses told police that as the truck moved forward out of the lot, Rosenbaum also moved forward into the truck's path. She was caught underneath, and her body was dragged several feet.
