The Texas Court of Criminal Appeals has remanded the Charles Dean Hood case to state district court for a determination of whether of not the affair between trial judge Verla Sue Holland and District Attorney Tom O'Connell may be consideredThe CCA case file is here.  Today's ruling is here.  An excerpt from the ruling: On September 8, 2008, we received another subsequent writ as well as other motions in the case. In an order issued on September 9, 2008, this Court denied a motion to recuse and dismissed the subsequent application.
