New Controversy for Harris County DA Rosenthal

The Harris County District Attorney is already under investigation by the Texas Attorney General for highly questionable e-mails and the use of county computers to send campaign-related e-mails.  Now, Chuck Rosenthal seems to have a runaway grand jury on his hands in a case involving a member of the state Supreme Court. Brian Rogers reports, "Indictments tossed against Texas Supreme Court justice, wife," in the Houston Chronicle.The Harris County District Attorney's office this morning dismissed the indictments returned Thursday against Texas Supreme Court Justice David Medina and his wife in connection with the fire that destroyed their home in Spring last summer.
