A formula for success

BoardBuzz was excited to hear about a Miami magnet school, where high expectations can yield award-winning results.

Thanks to our friends at the Center for Public Education , BoardBuzz learned about the Design and Architecture High School (DASH) where their school colors are black and white, their mascot is the Phantom of the Opera, and where 95 percent of students continue on to college.

The school attributes its success to its small environment, consistent grade monitoring, and parent and teacher involvement. DASH is also known for its reputation of fierce admission and hope for a promising career after high school.
