Ted Strickland: No soul man:  Ted Strickland sold his soul to become governor of Ohio.  He'll eagerly resell it - in the form of signing off on many more executions in late 2007 and 2008 - to further his political agenda in other areas, particularly if he thinks it will enhance his '08 vice-presidential prospects.  No one should be fooled by his protestations of concern about executions in Ohio -- regardless of whether made privately to people wearing collars, or anyone else.  These are completely disingenuous representations.  How Clintonesque.
