Voter Hotlines -- 866-OUR-VOTE; 866-MY-VOTE1

By Ryan Singel, Kevin Poulsen, Sarah Lai Stirland, Kim Zetter, and David Kravets

ADVERTISEMENTS
Just a reminder that voters who are experiencing problems in the election can call a national hotline that is staffed with legal experts. That number is 866-OUR-VOTE.

The legal hotline, run by Election Protection, has already received more than 100,000 calls since it opened earlier this month. The group reports that it has received 20,000 calls already this morning.

A second hotline is available for voters to report problems, though no one is staffing the hotline to provide advice. That number is 866-MY-VOTE1.

The Maryland chapter of the ACLU has also set up a hotline just for Maryland voters to report problems and seek advice -- 1-888-496-ACLU.

If you have problems casting a ballot, we'd also like to hear from you at vote@wired.com or add a report about your issue to our election map so we can track and investigate problems that come up. If you're adding a report to the map, please provide as much detail as you can to make it possible for us to verify the information. If you can provide us with your name and contact information to follow up with you and get more details, that would be even better. If you don't feel comfortable putting your name on the map, contact us at vote@wired.com.
