The Masters Conference - Electronic Data Discovery

By Blake Boyd

ADVERTISEMENTS

When I was not able to attend the Using Macs In Trial Conference, Brett Burney of edisoceryinfo completed a great review for The Trial Technologists View. Well, Brett is at again, this time giving us a review of The Masters Conference.

Don’t know what The Masters Conference is? Here’s a snippet of their About Us page:

The Masters Conference was formed in 2006 to provide an avenue for learning about e-Discovery in a new way. Our mission was to have speakers, vendors and attendees work together; the speakers would be educators on the rules and how they translate into practice, the vendors would develop solutions to fit the needs arising from electronically stored information (ESI) requirements and the attendees would combine their new knowledge and solutions and put them into implementation (perhaps even best practices).

EDD is still the wild wild west in my opinion and the knowledge exchanged at conferences such as these has got to be invaluable. I suggest going over there and looking through the posts. There are multiple on different subjects.
