I had dinner last night with some politicos from Hamilton County.   Apparently earlier this month a poll was taken of more than 400 Hamilton County residents on the Presidential and Governor’s race.  The results.

President

  • John McCain - 53%.
  • Barack Obama - 47%.
Governor
  • Mitch Daniels - 75%.
  • Jill Long Thompson - 23%.
It’s a snapshot in time, but it says quite a bit for the Presidential race to be that close in the GOP stronghold.
