: Random Ramblings About Life and Law SchoolToday I killed a gnat... with my eye.
I was in a hurry to get to my car so I could get to class. Because I'm a good law student. :)
I looked to my right to adjust my purse, and when I turned my head to look forward, there it was. Coming straight for me, right at my face. Since it was slightly to my right, I just kept on barreling on ahead when BAM! Right in the eye. At first, I thought it was just in my eyelashes...
then I realized it was actually in my eye! I dropped everything and got out my eyedrops. I put a couple in, then blinked a few times before I cautiously opened my eye again. There. I think it's better.
As soon as I got into the car, I looked at my eye in the mirror. So far, so good. I didn't see anything... until I pulled down my lower eyelid. There it was. A flat, dead little gnat.
Yep, I killed it. With my eyeball.
