: Neuroethics and LawCNN Video Clip: Brain-Based Lie Detection in India
By Adam Kolber
CNN has this very interesting 3 minute video clip about the murder conviction in India that was based in part on BEOS technology (an EEG-type test of experiential memory). The clip references some of the non-BEOS evidence in the case and ends with the suggestion that a defendant might feel pressured to submit to BEOS testing to avoid being subject to "third-degree" investigation techniques while in custody.
